Why do personal trainers need to create content

It is imperative as a personal trainer to create content to market yourself. A lot of personal trainers I now don't create content, because they feel as if someone has already done to death, their area of expertise. And to me this does not matter.

The reason this does not matter People are are always in search of fresh voices and people who fit their demographic and personality to deliver them information. Fitness is a boring and foreign concept to many people, as much as I would like to say otherwise its true. People vaguely and poorly understand concepts, so the need to create your own version of content is even greater.  You stand to profit, both monetarily and image wise by creating your own content.

Other reasons you want to create your own content Your clients both past and present will like having a library of content you created, in order to learn things related to their goals. A lot of time in person people will say they understand something, even though they really have no idea what you're talking about. In addition to not understanding a lot of people forget how to do things, and why you said it was important. In addition to forgetting why, it was important to do something, it creates content, they can share with their support system at home. When making lifestyle changes, it can be important for family members to see hear and understand the information themselves. Your content will ideally be shared in the ecosystem of your clients life outside of the gym, thus reaching more potential future clients. It also breeds familiarity amongst people who you don't know, and a sense of authority because, theyre are some bad trainers out there. So you can seperate yourself from the bad, by having good content.

The last reason If you struggle with explaining things in a way that makes sense to your clients, creating content will expose that. And a bonus, you save time by having your core messages in blog, video and image form. When your message is shareable, it goes a long way.
