Stop stressing yourself out over stress

What is the main stress hormone

Cortisol is the main hormone that will determine in an instant how stressed you may or may not feel.

This is our flight or flight hormone, when this hormone is turned on for too long its super easy to get caught up in a negative thought pattern.

What’s even worse is that we can correlate higher cortisol levels to higher stress level.

Cortisol will make you crave those bad foods that are high in carbs and highly processed because they are a quick source of energy.

How to approach lowering your stress hormones

There are a number of different factors, sleep is important and I will begin a series of articles about sleep soon.

Hi  intensity training is beneficial as well, things like meditations and positive affirmations are important as well.
