How to build a lucrative email list as a personal trainer

I am a firm believer in having both a website and an email list. The reason being is that social media is fickle, and while I am a firm believer in running ads to maintain your social media presence. I do believe that having an email list and a website, is vital to being successful, and possibly keeping your ad cost down.

Why having an email list as a trainer is important Once you have followers, on any social media platform, for social media accounts to see your content you have to pay for ads. The reason you have to pay is because, that is how the algorithm is set up and every social media platform is set up in such a way to allow them to profit massively before you can profit. By having a website, you can get leads and views there, and by having a email list, you can promote at a much cheaper cost, than running ads, or spinning your wheels trying to drive free traffic to your page.

How can you create a successful email list The same kind of content you would offer on  your social media pages, you would offer in your emails. In addition to promoting the same offers, you do want to offer better deals on your website and email to draw in leads. The 3 key types of emails you can send:

  1. Email sales promotions obviously

  2. Showcasing content on your social pages

  3. Exclusive content on your website and email specific offers
